Gov. Baker To Speak After Fenway Park Vaccination Site Tour

BOSTON — Gov. Charlie Baker will speak Wednesday at Fenway Park after touring what one of the state's mass vaccination sites. Baker will tour the home of the Red Sox at 11 a.m. with Health and Human Service Secretary Marylou Sudders and team president Sam Kennedy. Fenway has been vaccinating eligible residents since Monday morning. This week marks the beginning of Phase Two of the state's COVID-19 vaccination plan. Baker has said he could speak about a call center for people to make vaccine appointments. The state's online scheduling system has been marred by unwieldiness and confusion for many senior citizens looking to get vaccinated. Patch will update this story after Baker speaks.
