The ideal candidate is someone who wishes to grow their skills and future with a 38 year old established design build residential remodeling company serving the Northern VA area. Job Duties: Ability to read and follow plans/blueprints and bring them to life! Managing complete residential remodels from Demo Phase to punch out of full Bathrooms, Kitchens, Additions, Porches, Basements, Sunrooms & More. Performs majority of carpentry labor on the project: Demo, Framing, Drywall, Trimwork, Cabinetry, Tile, Accessories, Etc. Scheduling subcontractors, ordering materials & establishing good client relations Following Company Construction Standards & City/County Building Codes. Maintaining job cleanliness by enforcing on Site COVID requirements, site protection & safety procedures Meet construction deadlines with minimal supervision Lead & Mentor Apprentice Carpenters Adapt to different working environments/weather conditions including stooping, kneeling, standing, reaching, walking & lifting. Required Skills: Comprehensive knowledge, skills, experience of building & carpentry. Fluent English & communication skills. Framing, Exterior/ Interior Trims, Siding, Decking, Window/Door Install, Cabinetry Skills 5 Years experience in Lead Carpentry/Project Manager Project Management in a “hands on” matter Working as a team to lead & mentor apprentice carpenter Detail oriented, self- starter who consistently meets deadlines with minimal supervision Reliable transportation, Valid Drivers License & good driving record Provide own tools & equipment to complete projects Compensation & Benefits: $27- $32 per hour (based on experience) Paid Vacation/Holidays/Sick Leave Health Insurance- Medical, Dental & Vision 401K Plan + Matching Mileage Reimbursement Bonus Plan It is the policy of Foster Remodeling to maintain a workplace free from the use and abuse of drugs and alcohol.
