Greenwich Highway Department Still Moving Snow: Police

GREENWICH, CT — Greenwich police recognized the town's highway department Tuesday morning for their "great job" clearing the roads following Monday's snow storm. They also noted in a Facebook post the department was still working to move snow as of Tuesday morning. (To sign up for Greenwich breaking news alerts and more, click here.) "Please be careful," police said on Facebook. "Please don't place snow from your driveway into the streets." According to police, sidewalks in town need to be cleared of snow 18 hours after the end of the snowfall. "If your property is near a fire hydrant," police said, "please help [the Greenwich Fire Department] by clearing the snow away from it."
