Thanks to The Motivation Team Athletic Academy and Go With Your Move Biking! The purpose of The New Orleans Youth Coalition organizing a bike ride rally is to raise awareness around the lack of funding and programming for youth and families across NOLA in low income neighborhoods. Along with raising awareness around those issues we want to honor and have a moment of silence for individuals we have lost to gun violence, systems, and COVID 19. We are inviting the community and city officials to join us as we bike for change and honor those we’ve lost. We ask that everyone wear a mask.(REQUIRED TO RIDE). Residents are encouraged to bring signs and wear merch to honor those they are riding for. We ask that city and state officials join us to hear NOYC and residents solutions to reducing gun violence, investing in our youth, and many other topics that are currently affecting our communities.
