Basic Pistol course for beginners-intermediate. This Basic Pistol class is for someone who wants to learn the proper way to safely and responsibly use handguns. Topics covered include: Firearm Basics (Revolver/Pistol), what to look for when purchasing a firearm, shooting fundamentals, gear and gadgets, and basic/advanced skills. At least 1.5 hours will be live fire on the indoor range applying these shooting fundamentals. The course consists of discussions of the following areas: *Universal safety rules *Basic knowledge, skills, and attitude for owing and operating a gun safely. Pistols parts and operation *Ammunition types *Shooting fundamentals *Range rules *Provides a hands-on introduction to the safe handling and proper orientation to one or more pistol action types *Provides an introduction to defensive shooting fundamentals.
