Volt is immediately hiring Forklift Operators for a local leading organization in Bakersfield, CA. PERKS OF JOB: If you have experience operating any type of forklift and are interested in advancing your experience as a REACH OPERATOR, this opportunity is for you! As a Forklift Operator you will:Pick ordersPerform general warehouse dutiesPrepare inventory/parts/merchandise for shipmentUse RF device to track inventory picked and locatedOperate safely, adhering to all OSHA and site- specific standardsUse forklift, stock pickers, reach trucks, pallet jacks to load/unload trucks in warehouseTransport inventory via forklift and other warehouse equipment to and from the loading/unloading/staging areasAccurately pick merchandise/inventory from warehouse locations/racking using forklift, stock pickers, reach trucks, pallet jacks Forklift candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:Experience with both stand-up and sit down forklifts2+ years of recent forklift operator experienceAbility to consistently lift 40-50 poundsCurrent forklift operator certificationA valid state-issued driver’s LicenseCandidates selected must meet all pre-screening eligibility requirements We have job openings on both the first shift (Sunday - Thursday from 5AM- 1:30PM) and on the third shift (4-10 schedule from 3:00PM - 1:30AM) Pay for this position is $15-16/hr plus overtime as needed.
