Description
It's time for our annual Family Law Workshop! Join us for Single Mom Strong Sacramento's fourth annual Family Law Workshop and Legal Q&A , featuring attorneys Tara Roajs and Keeley Nicholson. We are happy to welcome back Tara Rojas! Tara is a family law attorney and the founding shareholder of Rojas Family Law, Inc. She recognizes that every family is unique and each family law matter requires a personalized strategy to navigate through the complicated family law processes. She is known for treating each case as if it were her own, and zealously advocating for her clients, whether during negotiation or litigation. She strives to go “above and beyond” for her clients, and in doing so, has been described as strategic, tenacious, assertive, compassionate, and cost-conscious. Mrs. Rojas has been honored by Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star”; an honorable distinction that only 2.5% of California attorneys receive. Joining Tara this year is Keeley Nickelson, an associate family law attorney at Rojas Family Law with valuable experience fighting for families both in and out of the courtroom. With the goal of reaching an out of court agreement always at top of mind, Keeley does her best to reach an advantageous settlement whenever possible. There are of course matters that cannot be settled for various reasons, and Keeley has developed a strong but calm presence in the courtroom. Ms. Nickelson has also been honored by Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star". Our presenters look forward to sharing their knowledge and expertise with the mothers of the Single Mom Strong community. This workshop will give an overview on family law, custody and child support matters, and each attorney will provide her five "key points" that she thinks every single mom should know: including the difference between legal and physical custody, how to handle sharing custody with COVID? What happens when you go to court on a custody related issue? etc. The event will end with an open question and answer period. This event will be held via Zoom. Zoom details will be emailed to regular attendees on the day of the event.
