The following information is from the Lemont Police Department. An arrest or charge is not an indication of guilt. Jan. 16 Dominykas Merkelis, 25, of Lemont, was charged with domestic battery and possession of a controlled substance at 3:30 p.m. following an incident in the 500 black of Main Street. Merkelis was taken to the Cook County Jail for a bond hearing.Ricardo Martinez, 25, of Chicago, was charged with driving while license suspended/revoked, one headlight, no registration plate light and no seat belt at 11:33 p.m. following a traffic stop at Main and Fourth streets. Martinez was issued a court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.Jan. 21 Joel Lefevers, 49, of Lemont, was charged with driving without a valid license at 8:37 p.m. following a traffic stop at State Street and Archer Avenue. Lefevers was issued a Feb. 22 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.
