JOLIET, IL —A 23-year-old Joliet man who lives in the 1700 block of Glenwood Avenue was arrested over the weekend after Joliet police say Kenny Le cut someone he knew with a box cutter, injuring the man's face and ear. Le was hauled away in handcuffs by Joliet police around 5 a.m. Saturday. Le was charged with aggravated domestic battery, unlawful use of a weapon and domestic battery. According to police, the victim was in an argument with Le "at which time Le cut the victim with a box cutter in the ear and face. Officers placed Le into custody without incident." A Joliet Fire Department ambulance rushed the man to the nearby AMITA Health St. Joseph Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said. As for Le, he was freed from the Will County Jail on Saturday night after posting 10 percent of his $15,000 bail, jail records show. Like what you're reading?
