Press release from Visit Tri-Valley: Feb. 2, 2021 Visit Tri-Valley, the destination marketing organization (DMO) that represents the East Bay cities of Danville, Dublin, Livermore and Pleasanton, has partnered with the U.S. Cultural & Heritage Marketing Council (USCHMC) to host a series of Cultural & Heritage Tourism Town Hall meetings on Zoom on February 4th and February 8th. The Town Hall meetings will provide the opportunity for community leaders, business owners, artisans, musicians, cultural organizations, the agricultural sector and various tourism constituents to share ideas and insights on the Tri-Valley's Cultural & Heritage Tourism Plan. "It is so important to get feedback from our community leaders as we work to develop our Cultural Heritage initiative," says Tracy Farhad, Executive Director of Visit Tri-Valley. "Our goal is to weave the region's rich arts, heritage and cultural experiences into every aspect of our efforts to promote the Tri-Valley area as a leisure destination. These Town Hall meetings are an opportunity for community listening and for culture bearers across the Tri-Valley to help guide us in developing our strategy and the stories we will tell." The community is invited to register for one of the Town Hall meetings on Zoom:- Thursday, February 4th from 10-11:30 a.m.- Monday, February 8th from 2-3:30 p.m. Richard Peterson, President & CEO of USCHMC, will facilitate the meetings. Peterson leads USCHMC in amplifying the importance of cultural and heritage destinations, sites, venues, artists, musicians, museums and experiences at the center of each community, and the social influence and impact to each resident and visitor.
