Description
Press release from Cincinnati Public Schools:
February 2, 2021
It's important to take care of our mental health as well as our physical health at every stage of our life.
Mental health includes our emotional, psychological and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel and act as we cope with life. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others and make choices.
Students in grades 7 and 8 are invited to participate in an online discussion called "What does Mental Health Mean to You?"
The event, presented by Black Women Cultivating Change, is set for February 22. Two sessions will be held at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m., with a limit of 250 participants at each session. Registration is not required. Click here to join either session of "What Does Mental Health Mean to You?"
All seventh and eighth graders who participate will be entered in a raffle to win one of many gift cards.
