PrideStaff has immediate openings for Shipping and Receiving Clerks that ensure that all necessary parts, supplies, and materials are received and shipped in a timely and accurate manner. They are responsible for supporting warehouse operations by counting and inventorying items, stocking inventory items in an organized manner, receiving and checking the contents of packages against packing lists / manifests, ensure commercial invoices, BOL’s and all logistics documents are accurate for shipments. Primary Responsibilities: Ensure that products processed for shipping are delegated to correct courier and all related logistics documents are completed accurately and thoroughly.  Receives incoming materials and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment; may process return shipments from customers. Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in bin location. Advise Materials Manager when materials are low so replenishment purchase orders can be issued. Accurately picks product from bins to fulfill customer orders or production orders using FIFO methodology. Pick orders and put away inventory by hand, hand cart, pallet jack, sitting fork truck or standing forklift. Prepares inventory for shipment. Properly bands and shrink wraps pallets if needed and attaches shipping labels. Processes receiving and shipping orders using an ERP system. Assists in conducting Cycle Counting to ensure inventory accuracy. Performs tasks to ensure safety, organization, and cleanliness of the warehouse environment. Displays a positive and professional attitude, demonstrates dependability, contributes in a team environment and possess an impeccable work ethic. Essential Knowledge, Skills, & Education High school diploma or GED, required. 1-3 years of experience in shipping & receiving required. Prior experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment including tight spaces and high lifts, required. Basic computer skills required to accurately gather and input data from computer systems.
