Skilled Maintenance Technician Wanted! Acorn Property Management is looking for the right individual to join our company who has a minimum of 3 years work experience in General Building Maintenance. We don't just manage properties and provide service to customers, we also build relationships, gain knowledge, and we have fun. Acorn is looking for someone to join our team who wants more than just a J-O-B and wants to be valued more than just a number. We need a person who can easily impress people with their personality, skills and talents. We want a Team Member! This position will be challenged daily with a variety of assignments from our Maintenance Department to provide service to residential rental properties throughout the Eugene-Springfield area. This is a full-time position available for someone that possesses enthusiasm, energy, punctuality and the desire to learn the industry while discovering a possible new career. Candidate must possess: 1. Experience in painting both interior and exterior using sprayer, roller or brush. 2. General Carpentry skills such as: building fences, decks, hanging doors, window replacements, etc.. 3. Maintenance skills to include troubleshooting, replacement or repair of plumbing, electrical, appliances, and HVAC, just to name a few. 4. A very strong moral & ethical foundation - integrity 5. Ability to accurately account for time & materials, provide detailed description of work performed 6. Service Oriented Appearance –tidy, clean and appropriate 7. Must be physically able to lift up to 50lbs frequently 8. Must be able to pass a criminal background check and possess a valid driver's that is insurable by Acorn’s insurance company, plus provide proof of your own reliable insured transportation. 9. Great time management skills 10. Organized by nature 11. Own hand tools Primary job duties: 1. Tasks involved would likely include landscaping, painting, flooring installation, and general carpentry 2. Seasonal and/or special projects 3. Remodels, Updates and Restoration Additional consideration to those applicants that also possess skills in: Spanish Speaking, Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook and other administrative functions. Salary: To be determined, dependent on experience Paid Personal Time Off and Paid Holidays after 60 days. You would also qualify for Medical Insurance which employer pays 90% of base package.
