Press release from Notre Dame du Lac Assisted Living:
Feb. 2, 2021
Notre Dame du Lac Assisted Living, rooted in the heritage of Saint Julie Billiart and sponsored by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, cut the ribbon on and started providing care in its recently upgraded assisted living community.
Designed with its residents in mind, the updated 24-room community will offer residents and their families medical care, comfort, emotional and spiritual support. Inside the 20 year old building featured new design elements including updated kitchenettes, brighter natural lighting, single studios with private bathrooms, and more. To add to the aesthetic quality of the interior, the community also features a full chapel with stained glass windows and balcony and sky ceiling tiles that enhances resident relaxation and emotional balance.
"We are excited to share the grand opening of our Memory Unit commonly referred to as our Harmony Neighborhood," said du Lac's Executive Director Jessica Morreale. "Our goal for these new renovations was to keep the historical charm that makes Notre Dame du Lac Assisted Living unique while also adding a modern touch in order to provide our residents with the care they need and deserve."
With renovations complete, Harmony Neighborhood is now available and open to the community. For more information, please contact Sara Seng at [email protected].
