Position Description We are a commercial and residential glass window and door installation company looking for a highly motivated candidate to fill the roles of glazier trainee. We are seeking persons who are fast learners, able to think outside the box when needed, has attention to detail, and works with precision. The ideal candidate will have prior experience within the window/shower door industry in an installation role. Professionalism with clients and homeowners is critical. Duties and Responsibilities * CLEAN DRIVING RECORD A MUST * Maintains a clean job site: picks up all tools and equipment and secures job site each day to eliminate potential hazards and ensure equipment retention. Loads and unloads trucks and hauls and hoists materials. Well understands use of tape measure and measuring equipment, able to calculate inch fractions. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results safely and as needed. Other jobs as assigned. Requirements ***Do not Apply for this position unless you meet the following requirements.*** Must be able to work a flexible schedule, typically from 6:30 AM until completion, sometimes as late as early evening but typically mid afternoon. Some projects may require other hours so flexibility is critical. Must be on time and dependable. Must be someone who has a strong work ethic, if the job is slow ask what you can do. Personal hand tools will be required as job progresses. Preferred Experience in window/shower door/commercial installation and service. Familiar with use of power tools. High energy level with willingness to learn. Compensation Sick/PTO and vacation time once employment requirement are met. Pay depends on experience.
