We are seeking RELIABLE, HARD-WORKING individuals for an entry-level positions in our manufacturing area. If you take pride in a hard days work and don't mind getting your hands dirty, WE WILL TRAIN YOU! This company truly cares for their employees and you will feel it in the team environment! 2nd shift: 3pm - 11:30pm, Monday - Friday 3rd shift: 11pm - 7:30am, Monday - Friday Location: 44th St & Broadway Rd You will train on first shift (M-F / 7am-3:30pm) but must be flexible to move to second or third shift. (Some OT and Saturdays required) *********************************************************************************************** Main job duties include, but are not limited to: 1. Scooping powders and resins from containers 2. Using industrial scales to weigh the powders and resins to exact specifications 3. Tracking your orders and their progress on pick sheets 4. Keeping your equipment and area clean in between orders and after your shift 5. Helping to keep other areas of the production floor clean Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to: • Marked changes in temperature and humidity. • Dust, fumes and/or airborne particles. • Moving mechanical parts and vibration. • The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Be aware that in this position you will be working with powdered colorants and more times than not, you will be grimy and dirty at the end of the day. ************************************************************************************************ You will be working around powders, dyes and resins so you can't be afraid to get your hands and clothes dirty! Requirements: - High School diploma or GED - Excellent problem-solving skills - Ability to calculate figures and amounts / good math skills. - Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills. - Ability to lift 50-75lbs consistently. - Ability to work overtime as required. - Strong work ethic with focus on attendance and punctuality. - Previous warehouse experience preferred.
