Looking to adopt a dog in need

My name is Kari. I work from home and am a homebody that would like to adopt a companion. I like going for walks and hiking. I am offering to take in a dog in need. I understand most rescues are full and shelters are not good options. You are welcome to come see my home prior to adoption as well. I have a house with a secured yard. I sadly cannot adopt any pit bull or pit mixes however because I do have an HOA. Please do not email me about dogs already in rescues and shelters. I visit the Rio Salado pound every weekend but they only have pit bulls. I really want to help one that doesn't have a chance. I will pay a reasonable adoption fee.
