Roofer Apprentice No Roofing Experience Required. Year-round full-time work. Seeking Roofing Apprentices for a great career opportunity. As a Roofing Apprentice you will receive, training, goals, expectations, and regular progress reviews, as well as performance increases. In addition, the Apprenticeship Program will provide a process for you to own all your own roofing equipment. To Be considered for apprenticeship, must provide, VERIFIABLE RESUME that contains the following. • Previous Supervisors who will provide a personal reference of outstanding performance. • History of proven commitment demonstrated by remaining with same employer. • History of success, demonstrated by increases in rate of pay, promotions, and responsibilities. • Proven aptitude for construction work. Job Responsibilities • Perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety regulations. • Maintain professional interaction with all customers. • Adhere to company polices, uniforms, no profanity, etc. • Remove old roofs, install underlayment, and install new roofs. • Perform repairs as indicated to leaking roofs. • We also have a chimney business that installs wood stoves and does brick and mortar work. • Will be subject to drug testing. Skills/Knowledge/Abilities Required: • Valid Driver’s License • Resume and Work References (Supervisors) willing to provide Personal References. • Ability to lift, transport and install heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally. • Trainable and willing to do other types of work. • Must adapt to our quality of roofing standards, subpar work will not be accepted. • Must be comfortable climbing ladders, standing, walking, and kneeling on various roof heights. • Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.
