Senior dog seeks forever home

Unfortunately I am looking for a new forever home for my senior rescue dog. He was found on the side of the road, freezing, severely underweight and knocking at death's door. Hes really a sweet little guy, but he has had various medical issues that needed fixed; he will continue to need proper medical and dental care. He is currently on 2 medications twice a day for his hips and joints; he also goes to an animal chiropractor every couple of months to get adjusted. His age has been estimated at 10-14 years old. His breed has been put down as everything from a pomeranian-poodle mix to a bichion-frise mix. He does OK with cats (mostly ignores them) but absolutely hates other dogs that are bigger than him (hes approximately 13 lbs). He is quite content to lay around all day like the old man he is. If you're a single, elderly person this might be the perfect dog for you - he doesn't go on walks (his choice) due to his joints deteriorating. He has never gone inside of the home, so he is definitely house broken. He is up to date on all of his shots. If you feel like he might be a great fit for you, please respond with a bit about yourself - your living situation, what other animals you have, your experience with older dogs etc. I am not looking for any kind of rehoming fee; the only concern is that this sweet little guy find a forever home in which he can live out his golden years comfortably and peacefully.
