I've been playing over 20 years in combination original and cover bands, mostly rock stuff and have been cooped up in my basement for the last year. I'm 43 yrs old now but I stay current with new or even popular groups. Over the last 12 months my musical taste has reached over to different bands from my norm to groups like Daft Punk, Snarky Puppy, Gary Clark Jr, The Weekend (certain songs), Vulfpeck, Post Malone, Dirty Heads, Sublime with Rome, shit I even learned a Dua Lipa song (great bass line) pretty much anything new or recommended on Amazon music I learn for practice and actually the challenge. So I enjoy more groove rock, 70's style sound, mixed with some blues/ R&B, hip hop, jazz, etc... Gear/ Fender Amer P-bass (flats), Mesa Boogie Cab, tons of effects. Looking for musicians with similar tastes, good gear, who can improvise, have fun, be dependable and make some music. Maybe there are others like me who are bored and want to do something a little different. Thx for reading.
