Providing essential services for home and business with 24hr Emergency Response for water, fire, mold & storm damage restoration, clean-up and Disaster Moving & Storage. We are a family owned and operated business based in South King County with offices in SeaTac, Tacoma and Yakima. As part of our Disaster Moving & Storage division you join a team of Certified Restoration Technicians in an industry that is recession proof and never shuts down. What you will do: • Packing household contents and moving them to our secure warehouse or storing them on-site during the Water Restoration and Mitigation process or other construction work • Maintenance and Cleaning of storage warehouse • Use of associated Tools of the Trade, including but not limited to, hand truck, lifting straps, air compressor, tape gun, drill, hammer, etc. • Independent & Team based working environment with limited supervision • Customer Service is always our #1 focus • Performance of duties in accordance with The Flood Guys high standards for safety rules & regulations • Digital inventory list of all items & their conditional during the packing & storage process • As a 24hr Emergency Response teammate, overnight and weekend work may be required based on the job location and type of disaster response needed • Assist with minor carpentry and mechanical work as needed Benefits: • PTO • Paid Training, Continuing Job-related Education & Certifications • Medical, Dental, Vision • Roth IRA Retirement (Match 3% Contribution) • Paid Holidays • Performance Bonuses available Requirements: • Pre-Employment Drug Screening • Ability to repetitively lift 50lbs or more • Excellent communication skills • Excellent problem-solving skills • Basic Data Entry • Valid Washington State Driver’s License • Clean Driving Record - 3-year Driver’s Abstract due at time of application • Criminal Background Check • Available for on-call shifts, in addition to standard 40-hour work week • Ability to work in environments that may contain mold, dust, and/or smoke • Ability to work in confined spaces • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision • Ability to work away from home on multi-day projects as needed E-Mail Resume & 3-year Driver’s Abstract to: [email protected] Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18-20/hr based on experience with performance increases annually
