Help needed to assist with all aspects of preparing for and planting this year's potato breeding plots at Cornell. Duties include, cutting seed, labeling and organizing plots, riding on a tractor drawn potato planer, transplanting seedlings into raised beds, as well as other minor tasks. Must be reliable, able to work as part of a team, and detail oriented. The first part of the job is indoors and then we transition to being outside most days. The hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30 - 4:00 and begin in early March and run through mid-June. Must be able to comply with Cornell's COVID protocols. Mandatory mask wearing, social distancing when appropriate (easily accomplished in our work environment), surveillance testing and filling out a daily check.
