We are looking for people who are willing to learn new skills, provide quality results and grow with our company. Positions Now Available: 1099 HANDYMAN - 30-40 Hrs/Week Pay Scale - $17 - $32/Hr. Depending on Level of Experience and Skills Job Description & Requirements to Qualify: Must have experience in fencing installation, painting and drywall. Additional experience with carpentry, siding, landscaping, minor electrical and plumbing, texturing or other repair work is a plus. Pay scale is determined by your level of expertise. Must live in Austin or be willing to commute around the Austin area to job sites. Preference to those living on the north side of Austin or Williamson County. Must have an operational & insured vehicle. You will be required to drive a personal truck/vehicle and may use personal tools. Compensation for use of vehicle is built into pay scale and/or mileage reimbursement per company policies. Having a pickup truck is not mandatory but preferred. Having experience with basic smartphone technology and applications will also be important. Must be able to document before/after work, submit photos and receipts to verify completed tasks. You must not have been convicted of a felony or other crimes involving moral turpitude. Drug and background screening is required. MUST BE ABLE TO LEGALLY WORK IN THE U.S AND BE ABLE TO FILL OUT A W-9 AS NEEDED. Must be reasonably proficient in English. Bilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred. You will be representing our company and therefore you must maintain a professional appearance and abide by our dress code policy. This includes our standard uniform and identification to be worn at all times during working hours. You will be required to deliver excellent customer service by being punctual, having the ability to meet deadlines, performing your tasks as written in a proficient and timely manner and staying within budget. Additional Experience We Would Like To See: Experience with apartment or residential housing maintenance would be very beneficial. Prior experience in training co-workers to learn additional skills.
