Associates Insectary has immediate openings for full-time workers at its Santa Paula facility. Those with experience working at a production nursery or commercial greenhouse should apply for this job. Similar skills, duties and working conditions will be involved with this position. We are looking for workers who have done well raising large numbers of plants/animals on a commercial scale. Applicants should be dependable, responsible and detail oriented. Applicants will be expected to learn to handle our plants and insects so that they grow and reproduce as expected. All equipment required is employer provided. Work is 40 hours a week with some over-time and occasional weekend work. This position offers competitive pay and very generous medical and retirement benefits. All applicants must possess a valid CA Driver’s License and be insurable. All offers of employment are conditional, based upon results of first day Fitness for Duty medical exam and drug screening.
