2-3 years experience required in Residential Construction. Must be able to measure, cut, and install materials according to the specifications of the job plans and instructions. Hand tools required (tool bag, hammer, measuring tape, safety glasses, pencil, small framing square), all other tools are supplied by the company. Framing, and Box & Siding experience required. Jobs may include new homes, additions, demo jobs, remodeling, decks, etc. Phone screens will be conducted. Job Interviews will follow the phone screen and will be conducted on the job site. Transportation required. Our company has been in business for 19 years building custom homes, renovations, additions, garages, porches, barns, and anything else the customer may want. Most of our jobs are located in Hillsborough, Chapel Hill, and Durham, NC. J & R Briggs Construction takes pride in producing quality work for our customers and contractors.
