Delivery Team Member and Warehouse Associate Position Summary: Under direction, is responsible for aspects related to the Shipping of cabinetry. Performing various tasks with the knowledge and use of appropriate tools, schedules and equipment. Using great attention to detail, troubleshoots issues and maintains expected shipping time frame by Delivery Team Members and others. Performs essential functions and responsibilities in support of Force Cabinets’ quality and safety goals; and performs related duties as required, such as assisting in general warehouse duties (assembly, forklift work, unloading of containers) during hours worked without delivery. Ideal candidate must: Be willing to listen and learn day in and day out. Have a strong appetite for teamwork and growth within an expanding company. Maintain attention to detail with strong organizational skills a must. Plan and complete an efficient delivery and pick up route for the day. Maintain basic records of truck mileage and deliveries made. Ensure that delivery vehicle receives basic service according to maintenance schedules, report larger service needs and mechanical issues to supervisor. Perform other related duties as assigned. Use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps. Have the ability to load and unload packages with and without dollies in various types of weather. Load delivery truck as instructed at facility and unload the same cabinets at the job site. Ensuring the correct cabinets are delivered to the correct building and unit without damage. Coordinate and perform required functions consistent with quality, efficiency, and completion schedules in line with Force Cabinets’ goals and objectives for all cabinet installations. Maintain open and constant communication with supervisor to report unresolved issues and if expected time frames will not be met. Proactively communicates job site conditions and concerns that may, or are, affecting completion schedules. Utilize knowledge, skills, training, and information to achieve peak performance, continuous improvement, and maintains a positive, productive work environment consistent with Force cabinets’ goals and objectives. The right candidate will also perform other duties in the warehouse as assigned by management. Some of these may include loading product onto pallets, assembling boxed cabinets to be made ready for future delivery and field installation, among multiple other duties. Forklift experience a plus but not required. Must be willing to learn a standard sit-down lift, as well as a stand-up reach lift. Must have reliable transportation.
