Dog School, Philly's oldest dog daycare, is looking for another awesome person to join our team. Please make sure to read the entire ad before applying! You'll need to be capable of learning to manage a room of 20-30 dogs, which means having a strong personality and great patience. While past experience working with dogs is not required, you should be interested in learning about their behavior in a group setting. And while working with dogs is fun, this job is a far cry from sitting around and petting them all day. You'll be on your feet constantly, and as you might imagine, there's a significant cleaning component to this job as well. Just as important as learning to manage the dogs is your ability to impress clients. Though interactions with the dogs' owners are brief, establishing a good rapport with them so that they feel comfortable leaving their dog in your care is essential to the job. The part time position we're currently hiring for would require working at 2 different daycares! You would alternate between 563 N 20th St. and 1737 South St. The weekly schedule would look like this: Tuesday and Thursday 7:15am-1:15pm (@ 1737 South St.) Wednesday and Friday 11:30am-7:30pm (@ 563 N 20th St.) If you think you might be a good fit here, please fill out our online application using the link below and we'll be in touch via email.
