Positions: Material Handlers and Shipping and Receiving specialists needs are across all shifts Shift: Monday- Friday occasional Saturdays 1st 6:00am- 2:00pm $15 2nd 2:00pm- 10:30pm $16 3rd 10:30pm- 6:30am $16 Work Environment: Cold storage facility typically around 45 degrees, Cold Freezer is -5 but are only allowed in freezer for max of 1 minute at a time to retrieve material on forklift or equipment. Select parts of warehouse are room temperature. Positions: Shipping receiving Specialist Shipping and Receiving Specialist under the direction of the Shipping & Receiving supervisor, continuously picks, lifts, carries and places product into a pallet to accurately build customer orders in various temperature environments, i.e, COLD FREEZER. Moves product into a trailer or storage unit, is responsible for visually inspecting incoming and outgoing warehouse products to determine acceptability for shipment and/or receiving of product RESPONSIBILITIES • Operates forklift and pallet jack • Racking/un-racking materials • Lifts, carries and picks product • Manually able to stretch wrap pallets (continuously walking around a pallet with a roll of stretch film) • Reads labels and or printing on product containers and associated documents. Counts and calculates quantity of product to verify accuracy of shipment • Must be able to consistently meet company safety, accuracy and productivity standards. Steps into the driving position and uses full range of peripheral vision to operate a forklift or pallet jack in an accident free manner • Able to work in & out of freezer • Able to inspect and complete trailer inspections documentation • Reads labels and associated documents and counts and calculates using math • Cycle counts • Inspects incoming and outgoing product QUALIFICATIONS • High School Diploma/GED • Forklift experience a plus, certification preferred • Basic proficiency in mathematics Position: Material Handler The Material Handler is an entry level manufacturing position for the production team. The Material Handler plays a key-supporting role in the production line/process, being a safe and productive employee and packing and aiding in the making, preservation and shipping of Beyond Meat products. QUALIFICATIONS • Follow safety, food safety and GMP practices beyond regulatory needs • Daily operating activities for producing finished goods while maintaining a safe, high quality, productive manufacturing environment • Responsible for specific production equipment based on training provided • Support management in development and process improvement activities • Assist with the overall cleanliness of the facility by sweeping, gathering trash, and other janitorial duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS • High School Diploma or GED • Experience in Food manufacturing preferred • Excellent comprehensive and communication skills, while performing individually in a team environment. • Ability to work 8-12 hour shifts • Experience in Food manufacturing preferred • Flexibility to work any/all shifts to support a high growth work environment • Mandatory overtime is required on occasion, which can include some weekends • Ability to understand and follow rules of safety and Good Manufacturing Practices • Teamwork and a positive attitude essential to maintain a culture of cooperation and respect • Punctual and dependable • Attention to detail PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT • Must be able to repetitively lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations • Able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time • Must be able to crouch/stoop/squat/bend as needed to complete tasks Please reply with your resume and the position you are interested in.
