GLASS TECHNICIAN ASSISTANT The Creative Reflections team is currently seeking a highly motivated individual for our Glass Technician Assistant position. This entry level position will develop an individual into a skilled glazing professional with the potential for advancement. Our team environment offers numerous training opportunities to learn the glazing industry and work on projects from conception through completion. DUTIES: As a Glass Technician, you would be responsible for: Assembling and preparing project materials from drawings, proposals, and measurements. Fabrication and installation of project material to include jobsite preparation, measuring, cutting, drilling, fitting, grinding, handling materials, and cleaning jobsites. Ensuring accuracy of delivered materials and project specifications. Organizing the fabrication workspace and service vehicle fleet. Coordinating with the Lead Glazer and Project Coordinator, as well as communicating with clients. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: This is an entry level position with no experience necessary in the glazing industry. To qualify for the Glass Technician position you must meet the following requirements: Experience, knowledge, or an interest in designing and fabricating projects. Strong geometry and math skills. Detail Oriented. Organized, self-starter with the ability to handle numerous projects and prioritize workload. Must be able to communicate effectively and conduct themselves professionally. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficient in excel and word a plus. Maintain detailed and organized records of documents, correspondences, and project specifications. Ability to use and read a tape measure. Ability to use hand and small power tools, including accuracy when using a level. Physically capable to handle glass panels up to 90 pounds. Physically capable to handle periods of standing, recurring bending, crouching, stooping, working in cramped or confined areas, and climbing (e.g. ladders, staircases, and on occasion scaffolding).
