Summary Description: Job Roles and Responsibilities:The service Technician is responsible for the diagnosis and repair of vehicles in an efficient and competent manner Tech Responsibilities Repair vehicles within flat rate time guidelines Fix Right the First Time Maintain High CSI Perform a quality control check, including thorough road test, on work performed before turning in the repair order Indicate clearly what repairs were performed on repair order and sign off on back of order Look vehicles over carefully to sell additional needed maintenance and safety repairs and inform Lead TechnicianExperience and Qualifications:Open to all skill Levels Ability to perform routine maintenance and repairs in a timely fashion with a high degree of quality Fully qualified to handle all minor and major Auto/Light Truck repair procedures on Vehicles Strong diagnostic/problem solving skills Some ability to perform Engine, Transmission and drivability repairs Ability to perform Diagnosis on all systemMust be 18 years of age or olderWork Environment/Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to work near moving vehicles and mechanical parts. May be exposed to noise, fumes, extreme heat or cold. Employee may be sitting between eight and twelve hours during shift. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to use both hands to handle, feel, reach above and below shoulder level, must be able to stoop, bend, kneel, stand, walk, drive a vehicle, lift or move 50+ pounds, use of eyesight and ability to talk and hear.
