Warehouse Associate Weekly Pay, Benefits, Safe, clean environment!!! Volt is immediately hiring Warehouse Associates for a local leading organization in Melville, NY. Warehouse Associates will work in the Distribution Center, assembling parts, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, stocking, etc providing world class service in a manufacturing/production environment. As a Warehouse Associate, you will:Verifies accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and ordersData entry - working on returns, credits and refurbishing framesEntering information in databaseStocking and arranges productsFills customers’ orders according to specificationsMaintains clean work area to ensure compliance with safety regulationsPerforms all work in accordance with established safety proceduresOther duties may be assigned. candidates must meet the following requirements:At least 6 months to 1-year warehousing experience as general laborer, warehouse associate or material handler.Ability to stand, twist, push, pull, squat and lift to 30 pounds for entire shiftUnpacking ShipmentsVerifying Inventory received, cycle counts and quality control checksStocking shelvesMust be able to work in a fast paced / deadline driven environment and work over-time as needed.Candidates selected must meet all pre-screening eligibility requirements Pay for this position is $15.00/hr plus overtime as needed.
