Louisiana Concealed Handgun Permit Course- Must be a Louisiana Resident Please read all details before purchasing This is a *FULL 9-Hour* Louisiana Concealed Handgun Permit course taught by John Barnard, a Louisiana P.O.S.T. Firearm instructor. This course is approved by the Louisiana State Police, Department of Public Safety and Corrections. Details: 1) A valid government I.D. is required. You must be 21 to receive a completion certificate. If under 21, see #7. 2) $100 fee per person in attendance. 3) Eye and ear protection are required, loaners are available if you don't have any. 4) A minimum of 50 rounds of ammunition are required, any handgun caliber. 5) Lunch will be provided, if enough attend. If not, a 45 minute window will be provided for lunch. 6) Fingerprinting will be available for those that require it, after class, at no charge! 7) If you or someone you know is under 21 and would like to attend the class, the attendance is welcome. The fee is also $100/person since it will require a seat in the class. We'll cover the laws for possession of a handgun under 21 and the legal possession of a handgun by a juvenile (LRS 14:95.8). You'll also get to shoot with the rest of the class and receive a "Certificate of Attendance". You'll enjoy it! 8) If you know you can't legally possess a handgun/firearm, and you reserve a spot, and you actually show up, a non-refundable $100 administrative fee will be required before being asked to leave. We'll use that fee to purchase lunch for the rest of the class. So, if you aren't legal, don't participate. - John 9) The instructor, John Barnard, is a career police officer. If you can't Back The Blue, you can still attend a class, but not through us. There are other instructors on LSP.org to take the class through. Any negativity toward law enforcement during the class will result in immediate removal from the premise, the fee will turn into a non-refundable fee. - John Text, message, or call John to reserve your spot.
