PATCHOGUE-MEDFORD, NY — The massive snowstorm that hit Long Island has now led to a second snow day this week. The storm began hitting Long Island overnight Sunday and is expected to go on into Tuesday, bringing over a foot of snow to certain areas. In response, the Patchogue-Medford School District canceled all classes Monday night. After being closed on Monday, all schools will also be closed on Tuesday, Feb. 2. According to the school district, there will be no virtual instruction as well.
