Providing Exterminating Solutions Today (P.E.S.T.) is full-service pest control company that operates in California, Hawaii and Florida. We are a respected company in the pest control industry who services national and local contracts. Currently, we are seeking individuals for full-time positions as Fumigation Helpers. Our methods and safety standards set us apart in the industry. No experience is required. Our fumigation teams will coach you to success. You should possess a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. Qualified applicants should: • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred • CPR and First Aid certification preferred • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, labels, and documented processes • Ability to write simple correspondence • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team • Ability to pass a Pulmonary Function Test and SCBA Fit Test is preferred • Ability to move up to 10 pounds regularly, and 11-20 pounds frequently, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or repositioning objects. • Exert up to 50 pounds of force to move objects is required occasionally. • Use legs and/or hands and arms to ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, etc., in a manner that exceeds what is required for ordinary motion. • Be able to maintain balance when walking, standing, or crouching on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces; balance exceeds that needed for ordinary motion. • Be able to bend legs and spine downward and forward to crouch or squat, and bend legs at the knee to come to rest on a surface with one or both knees, including crawling on hands and knees or hands and feet. • Push objects forward, downward, or outward with sustained force using the upper extremities to press with steady force, and drag, draw, haul, or tug objects with sustained motion using upper extremities to exert force. • Starting pay is $18.00 an hour, increases to $19.00 after 6 months Benefits: • Paid training • 401K • Medical, dental, vision • Life insurance • Paid time off • Competitive pay Requirements: Complete a drug screen, physical and background check.
