MANUFACTURING MATERIAL HANDLERS are responsible for supply and take-away material handling, supporting the Machine Operator role while also maintaining Steeped cGMPs and QC/QA systems. Additionally, this position will be cross-trained to support the Fulfillment and Receiving Departments, to assist as needed. The Manufacturing Material Handler Position serves as a member of the larger Manufacturing Team and works closely with the Manufacturing Supervisor and the Production Manager. Department Structure: Reports to Manufacturing Supervisor Hours: 5:00AM-1`:30PM ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Support the Machine Operator role in meeting Steeped manufacturing objectives. Operate coffee bean grinding machines according to Steeped Guidelines. Work to assure food safety and conformity of product to established requirements. Follow SOPs and GMP guidelines and work to ensure HACCP compliance for food safety. Identify Quality Control errors and follow correctional procedures. Partner in the development of departmental procedures and systems. Partner in the creation of positive and energetic Steeped Coffee company culture. Ability to kneel, crouch, climb stairs, use step ladders, & stand for long periods of time (4-6 hours). Regular light work (10-20 lbs of exertion) and at times, medium work (50+lbs of exertion). Cross Training in other departments as needed: Receiving, Fulfillment, etc. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform and manage each essential duty satisfactorily.
