PLAY ABA, LLC is now accepting applications for part-time positions as a Behavior Therapist (BT), working one-on-one with children with developmental delays. This is a challenging yet fun and rewarding position. You will be taught play based techniques to use to work on the client's goals. We currently have open cases to staff (described below) and always have new opportunities coming in. We are frequently in need of people between the hours of 3:00 - 7:00 weekdays (after school). A high energy and motivated BT can typically cover 2 to 3 cases at a time, if the additional hours are desired. About the Company: PLAY ABA is Promoting Learning Advancement in Youth through ABA PLAY ABA provides behavioral interventions for toddlers and children who have developmental delays due to Autism or similar disorders. These interventions are play based and are done in the client's natural environment (home, community, preschool, etc.). The BT will work 1-on-1 with the client implementing the program designed by our founder and Chief Clinical Officer. Goals are set and the BT uses play based interactions to provide the client with opportunities to practice the skill/behavior we are working on. PLAY ABA, LLC is a small family owned and operated company. After our son was diagnosed with Autism at age 4 we found ourselves searching for help and quite honestly, we were not impressed with the services that we received. We tried just about everything and eventually after a lot of self-education, our Chief Clinical Officer returned to college and started a new career! We provide all the support and training you need and encourage our BTs to continue to grow by providing paid course training (including your time to take it!). This online at-your-own pace course meets all the criteria for becoming a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). We also provide the oversight hours required by the board prior to taking the board certification test to be a BCBA or a BCaBA.
