Below are some basic facts about the election. “Let’s go back to the night of the election. By midnight, we had a commanding lead in the swing states. We won Florida by a record number of votes. We won Ohio by a record number of votes. And likewise, we won Iowa by 8.2%—far different than the false narrative portrayed in the media. We were up by 293,000 votes in Michigan, 112,000 thousand votes in Wisconsin, 356,000 votes in Georgia, and nearly 700,000 votes in Pennsylvania—all swing states…(over night) These gigantic and ridiculously one-sided spikes were miraculously just enough to push Joe Biden into the lead—in all of the key swing states. These glaring anomalies are just the tip of the iceberg.” This claim has been thoroughly debunked. The truth is that Trump’s ominous warnings about mail-in voting in the weeks leading up to the election reduced republican votes by mail and while a total of 29% of votes were cast on election day in person, 68% of these in-person votes on election day were for Trump. So, by the evening, before the 58% of votes that were cast by mail had been counted, Trump looked like he was ahead. The claims about how big the difference was and the impossibility of that lead be overcome was just wrong mathematically. Two thirds of the votes were not counted in many states by election night. A simple bit of math – say 100 votes total are cast. One third are cast in person with 68% favoring Trump would be (.68 x 33 = 22.44) on election day. Then two thirds of votes are sent in by mail and those favored Biden by 58% (.58 x 66 = 38.28). In our little scenario on election day Trump would be ahead by 22 to 10. But after the mail in votes were counted 46 votes were for Trump, but Biden had 10 + 38 = 48. Biden is elected. “My campaign received more votes than any President in history. Almost 75 million people voted for me.” Just six million fewer than voted for Biden who got 81,283,098. In describing the votes, Trump argues the results are “historically, mathematically, politically, and logically impossible.” He underestimates the energy his obnoxious and ignorant presidency created in the population. Pro-Biden votes added with anti-Trump votes elected Biden with a level of voting we will not see again for some time. Read these claims carefully: We have shown that officials in virtually every key swing state brazenly violated their own state laws in order to change election procedures, eliminate safeguards, promote fraud, and illegally benefit Joe Biden. And legislatures, which have to make the changes, were seldom, if ever, used.” – Not one of these types of claims suggest that the vote did not mirror the actual wishes/votes of the population. Yes, states modified election procedures because of Covid, but the result is simply a more accurate reflection of the will of the voters as more of them could participate. To suggest this is a basis for overthrowing an election, is to say that if you can’t keep some people from voting, it is unfair. “In Wisconsin, the major Democrat cities deployed over 500 unmanned, unsecured, ballot drop boxes that were blatantly illegal (not according to the courts), paving the way for unlawful ballot harvesting and tremendous fraud.” These types of complaints simply suggest that there was ballot harvesting but offer no actual evidence. That is why all of these claims were thrown out of court. It may be possible to exploit these drop boxes for nefarious purposes, but there is no evidence it happened even after multiple recounts and investigations. “In 2016, 6.4% of mail-in ballots were rejected in Georgia. This year, fewer than a tiny percentage of 1% were rejected. So, you went all the way down—a difference of more than 30 times.” This was a result of millions of dollars of voter education and support. If you checked your state’s election website, you saw all of the efforts to make sure you were successful in voting by mail. A review of signature matches in Georgia showed they were extremely accurate with less than 1% difference between the two counts. Again this is a claim where there is no evidence that anything happened. “In addition, there is the deeply troubling matter of Dominion Voting Systems.” The lies about the voting machines have led to a 1.3 billion dollar lawsuit. We will get all of the evidence…if there was fraud, it will come out in court. Bet against it. As the Republican Georgia state election official told Trump when he raised these concerns, “you just have bad information” these claims have been examined and have been dismissed.
