CHATHAM, NJ — As the nor'easter continues to blow through New Jersey, the School District of the Chathams opted to continue with virtual schooling.
District officials announced another virtual day for Tuesday. And the Board of Education meeting scheduled for Monday will take place at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The School District of the Chathams went virtual Monday because of hazardous weather. Many districts might have to do the same Tuesday as snow continues to pile through the Garden State.
Morris County has been among New Jersey's hardest-hit areas. Morris Township and Randolph topped the county snowfall totals with 19 inches each as of Monday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.
The NWS reported 12.5 inches of snow in Chatham as of noon Monday.
