OSWEGO, IL — A woman and her dog fell through ice in Oswego Monday, the Oswego Fire Protection District said. Officers responded to the area of Bridgeview Drive around 10 a.m. where the woman had followed her dog onto the ice. The ice broke and both fell into the water, the district said. When the fire crews arrived, the woman had already been rescued by the Oswego police and a nearby resident. She was treated by paramedics on the scene.
