Part Time Hours: 16-18 hours a week, including one night a week and Saturday rotation Salary: Depending on qualifications General Summary Mokena Community Public Library District is looking for a positive, engaging customer services staff member to join our circulation team. This position processes library materials and interlibrary loan requests, assists patrons with computers, and must provide universally excellent customer services to all patrons without regard to race, religion, gender, sexual preference, national origin, disability, age or other characteristics. Candidates must be continually positive, courteous and friendly while handling many tasks. Customer service staff need to accommodate the episodic nature of the circulation desk with professionalism and kindness. A service-oriented attitude is a must as our library strives to uphold the highest standard of service possible. The successful candidate will be open-minded, proactive, and flexible.
