“Promoting Mental and Behavioral Health Awareness” “Promoting Mental and Behavioral Health Awareness” All Activities will take place at the Florida Hotel and Conference Center Hotel accommodations TBA The Florida Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) is pleased to announce its’ 3rd Annual Restoring Hope Training Summit that will connect resources, provide training and raise awareness on issues impacting Florida’s youth and families. The Restoring Hope Summit theme is “Promoting Mental and Behavioral Health awareness.” Workshops will include best practices in strengthening a trauma-informed culture in the workplace and community, while promoting mental and physical wellness in the family and community, building organizational capacity, and delivering effective results that enhance juvenile justice reform efforts. This training will bring together The FDJJ and community stakeholders to develop strategies that will enhance reform efforts, strengthen families, and build connections while empowering attendees with relevant advancements in juvenile justice reform. Conference Highlights will include: Plenary sessions, luncheons, educational workshops, and exhibits. The training will provide educational information on the DJJ continuum of services, resources, highlight effective prevention and intervention strategies, and encourage capacity building amongst juvenile justice service providers.
