Press release from the City of Greensboro: Post Date:02/01/2021 9:54 AM The City is looking for Greensboro nonprofit agencies with experience working with homelessness prevention programs to apply for its Request for Qualifications (RFQ) in connection with the nearly $9 million received by the US Department of Treasury. Proposals are due by 3 pm Friday, February 12. Questions about the RFQ must be submitted by email by 12 pm Thursday, February 11. The funds are part of the $25 billion Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) established in December by the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021. Nonprofit agencies with the following demonstrated experience are encouraged to apply to assist the City with administering this financial assistance to eligible households: Minimum of five years of experience Emergency rent and utility assistance programs Rehousing assistance Administration of federally funded programs Federal program compliance Collaborating with landlords and utility companies.
