ASHLAND, CA — Four people and a dog managed to escape a house fire in Ashland, without injury, early Sunday morning. The fire was reported at 2:16 a.m. The fire started in the garage, but extended into the attic, according to the Alameda County Fire Department. It took the crews about 20 minutes to get the fire knocked down. The Red Cross is providing assistance to the victims.
