Meet Ralph! This sweet 2-year-old girl is ready for her forever home. She grows fond of her people quickly and is best suited for those that are home more often than not so she can check in on you and show you some love. She’s a trusting gal who has shown zero signs of aggression while bathing her, handling her food, or petting her. She’s playful and quite the athlete so a big enough backyard where she can run and fetch is ideal. Once she’s had a good romp, she’s content to lie by you while you work or watch a movie. She has pretty good house manners – she’s potty trained, doesn’t beg at the dining table, and hasn’t been too fussy about sleeping in her comfy crate at night. She’s treat motivated and has already learned “sit” and “come”. We’re still working on a few things like walking easy on a leash, not to mouth during playtime, and that the occasional jump isn’t always appreciated when you weigh 70 pounds – but we’ve seen progress in the few days we’ve had her. We’re unsure how she is with other dogs since we haven’t had close contact – she mostly ignores them during walks at the park and barks at them when they pass our fence. She would probably be best in a house without cats or little ones since she doesn't realize her size and can be enthusiastic with her greetings.
