Hello my name is Chris, I'm 27 living on LI. If you'd like to hear some recordings to see if you're interested or not shoot me an email and I'll send some clips
Looking to start a 60/70s style rock and roll band. Specifically looking to start a group that showcases multiple lead singers. Similar to a Beatles, Grateful Dead, the Band, kind of group. Think it be really cool to take turns singing lead vocal i love groups that have that dynamic.
I play keyboards and sing.
Thinking a 4 or 5 piece would be ideal. 2 guitar players, bass, drums and me. And being able to create nice two part or three part harmonies would be awesome.
below I made a sample list of songs I can sing at a high level and would like to perform live.
Elton John- Saturday night alright for fighting
Grateful Dead- one more Saturday night
T-Rex- 20th Century Boy
Hendrix- Crosstown Traffic
Pink Floyd- time and young lust
The Who- long live Rock
Queen- Fat Bottomed Girls
Grateful Dead- Casey Jones
Tom Petty- don't do me like that
Stones: beast of burden
Traffic- who knows what tmrw may bring
The Doors- roadhouse blues
I can also sing most if not all beatles songs but of course a lot of those depend on our harmonies if we can get the right group of singers together.
hmu if u think youd be interested!
Focusing on being a cover band for now and down the road once we feel like we have a great sound we can throw in some originals
