Express has partnered with a well-known asphalt & concrete company to find an experienced and qualified Asphalt Paving Foreman. This is a direct-hire position. This company stays busy year-round and works on paving, patchwork, and concrete flatwork operations. Asphalt Paving Foreman Location: Snoqualmie/Seattle Area Rate of Pay: You can earn up to $40.00 per hour, depending upon experience. Pay increases after the probationary period and is contingent upon attendance and performance. Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm. Please note, the schedule will vary depending upon the jobs. The candidate will need to be flexible. What you get to do: - Execute overlays, new paving of developments, large R&R patchwork. Project tonnages range from 25 to 2,000 or more - Create a plan of action on paving execution before laying mix down - Training the crew to be top-level to execute all jobs - Someone with attention to detail regarding grade, proper sub-base construction, drainage, and mat appearance - Someone who is eager to train and coach toward constant improvement. - Help recruit and hire new crew members - Someone who can communicate efficiently with vendors and subs (grinding, trucking, etc.) to execute paving operations - Someone who can use good, newer paving equipment (Leeboy) to its full capacity What you need to be successful: - Valid Driver License - CDL endorsement is a plus but not required - Self-motivation, punctual - A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the pavement sector of the construction industry What’s in it for you: - Profit-Sharing - Healthcare - Dental - Retirement - Paid Time Off (PTO) - Dependent Care Flexible Spending Arrangement (FSA) - Employee Assistance Program (EAP). - Competitive pay - Year-round work Interested in this position as your next career move?
