Looking for drivers and non-drivers to deliver and install household appliances. You will be required to use your own tools (basic tool set plus a cordless drill) and safe shoes. Wearing a company shirt and maintaining a professional appearance is expected at all times. Job Overview: A well established, family owned and operated, Appliance Delivery and Installation Company is currently hiring appliance Delivery/Installation Teams for Phoenix Metro routes. A clean driving record is required for driving positions. Responsibilities include reporting to work on time and performing assigned work according to company expectations. Must be able to move heavy appliances. Installation training is provided. Our Teams take pride in providing the best customer experience possible; this includes demonstrating a high level of caution and care while in a customer's home or at a job site. Our teams must provide exceptional customer service, be professional and courteous at all times. The job includes the un-crating of all appliances, carry upstairs when needed, uninstall old appliances, install new appliances, cleaning up all trash and leave the job site clean. This is a physically demanding position. Tool-kits MAY be available for purchase (depending on inventory) however your own tools are preferred. Channel-lock pliers, a box cutter, a level, a cordless drill, a drill-bit set and a set of screwdriver bits will be helpful in getting you started. Tools are need for both the driver and non-driving positions. Experience installing appliances is REQUIRED Experience driving 26 ft. box trucks is a plus and CDL is NOT required Responsibilities and Duties: Provide GREAT customer service and demonstrate respect at all times. Neat, clean, and professional appearance Ensures safe and on-time delivery of products to customers Technology of using routing application(will train) on the cell phone, including taking pictures of the installations and detailed notes on what took place during the delivery and installation. Install all major household appliances. Return all haul-away materials including packaging materials and used appliances as outlined. Load and unload delivery trucks. Maintains cleanliness of vehicles and performs routine maintenance tasks Be able to move and lift appliances throughout shift. Complies with and enforces all safety policies and procedures Complete other tasks as assigned by dispatch or management. Qualifications: Must be at least 25 years old Can safely operate the motor vehicle he/she will be driving; Is physically qualified and legally licensed to operate the vehicle assigned. Job Type: Full-time/ 5 days a week and the availability to work Saturdays Delivery/Installer: 1 year (Required) Driver's License (Required) COVID-19 considerations: Masks are required at all times and Gloves and bootie, if requested by customer.
