hey Austin- I'm looking for form a post punk, alt rock noise type band. think in the vein of Protomartyr, preoccupations, shame, parquet courts, idles sounds. you should understand the type of sound im hoping to go after with those types of influences. I play drums and am in my early thirties. I have pro gear and have been playing for a while. I like playing in the pocket and I also like an aggressive playing style. I understand when to play and when not to play...... you- i'm looking for a like minded guitar player first to write songs with then I would like to add the rest. I don't care if you have pro gear or not, just want you to know how to use it and be able to collaborate when writing. ideally, a once a week steady practice cycle with writing and sending stems when ideas come up. if you want to take a stab at it, give me a shout, send me some stuff you have been in or working on. looking forward to hearing from you.
