Dixie Belle Ice Cream is currently seeking top-notch drivers to join our delivery team! We are looking to fill position in the Myrtle Beach and surrounding areas area. Part Time and Full time positions available All prospective Candidates need to include a copy of an updated MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) or the Declaration Page from your current insurance policy with their resumes via email. You will be using a company vehicle and cannot be hired without this report to verify your driving record. We can send you link to get this on-line from DMV. DMV charges $6-$10 fee for this service. ****MUST have an Iphone and unlimited data for this position so we can communicate with you via Microsoft teams and power apps**** Compensation: -$100 per day for training period. -After that you would be given base salary of $250 plus 2% commission on all delivered items. -Once you are fully trained and comfortable with the job we will move you to 4% commission with no base *Please note that our Current commission only drivers make $600-$1000 a week (based off 5 day work week and 8-10 hours a day) This position is a 1099 contractor that works independently in the field Qualifications: ~CLEAN DRIVING RECORD REQUIRED ~3 YEARS DELIVERY DRIVING EXPERIENCE PREFERRED ~GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS ~DSD (direct service delivery) EXPERIENCE A PLUS ~Willing to undergo a background check, in accordance with local law/regulations Duties Include: ~Execute all route operational activities ~Load orders on and off the truck ~Confirm all customers on the route are accurately downloaded to your route ~Service all stores scheduled each day by greeting the manager when entering the store, rotating inventory, filling the freezer, identifying issues, collecting cash payments (non-charge accounts) and getting manager’s printed name and signature on the handheld ~Complete product inventory weekly ~Specific routes will be assigned once training is completed (Driver will be assigned a route in the proximity of entire route).
