Blower Truck Operator w/ CDL Job Summary Full time Blower Truck Operator to lead a small crew delivering and installing organic materials such as bark, compost, and soils to residential and commercial customers. This position requires an individual who has an excellent driving record, good team leadership skills including communication skills, and excellent customer service. Will exercise optimal maneuverability on site in a blower truck or dump/delivery truck. Driver will follow all safety and driving requirements. Responsibilities and Duties Will drive, maneuver, and operate a bark blower truck to deliver and install organic materials such as bark, compost, and soils. Occasional use of various hand and power tools, forklift, and loaders. Will be team lead for a small crew. Will answer customer questions and provide customer service. Qualifications and Skills Must possess a Class A or B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Three years’ experience and a clean driving record Able to communicate well with co-workers and customers Prior supervision skills a plus Valid Medical Card High school diploma or equivalent Familiar with Salem and surrounding areas & ability to read a map or guide Must be hard working and self-motivated Able to pass all pre-employment screenings Physical requirements: Have full range of mobility in upper and lower body & be able to reach overhead. Be able to lift, pull, and push materials and equipment to complete assigned tasks. Be able to lift 60 lbs. frequently throughout assigned workday.
